On Sunday [March 20th], the Bellaire High School and Houston Juniors Volleyball Programs lost one of its brightest stars in Jade Robinson.  Jade was the captain of the varsity volleyball team at Bellaire and a member of Houston Juniors 18’s 2nd Team that had just qualified for nationals when she passed away after a head-on auto accident that also took the life of her sister as well.  The Robinson family and both volleyball programs will need all of our support and prayers over the upcoming days and months.

A GoFundMe Account has been set up under the name of Jade Robinson [HERE] in which donations can be made to help the Robinson family in this time of need.

On behalf of GHVCA our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow board member Ap Clarke who is the head coach at Bellaire High School.

I know Jade was a very special student athlete that Ap could not stop bragging about because of her selfless commitment to her teammates and the program.  RIP Jade!
