Volunteering for Bellaire Volleyball

Bellaire Volleyball is great because of player's families, sponsors and friends. The Bellaire Volleyball Booster Club is a great way to support your favorite Lady Cardinal. her team and Bellaire High School. There are number of ways to get involved.

Team Parents
Each team, Varsity, JV and Freshman have a team parent to ensure everyone on the team gets the information they need! This volunteer makes a huge commitment to keep the cats herded in the right direction. These folks are the go-to people who make sure all the fans and families know the what, when and where about their team.

Concessions: Bellaire High Home Games

When the Lady Cardinals host games at Bellaire High, we sell concessions and collect admission. This includes pre-season home games with the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams as well as regular season competitions involving both JV and Freshman teams. All it takes is an hour of your time and it's very easy. Typically, a table is set up at the entrance of the girls gym. While the Freshmen play, JV players two JV parents attend to concession and admissions. When the JV takes the floor for their game, parents of players from the freshman team take over the concession table.  They make sure we have enough merchandise available to sell and change in the cash box for admissions.

Year End Banquet
The Year End Banquet is where we recognize the hardest working volleyball team in Houston!  It's entertaining, emotional and a highlight of every season. The food is pretty good too! Volunteers make this a memorable event for Bellaire Volleyball players. They are a wide range of ways to support the banquet; from making videos, to coordinating favors, to selling tickets. We can't make this a special event without volunteers.

For certain competitions, like tournaments, bus transportation is will not be available. Parents are asked to car pool players to these events and help make sure our players get home safely. Players are not allowed to drive to competitions held off campus.  The team moms listed above coordinate the off campus transportation.
